Quick description

Located opposite the Baroque church in the beautiful spa town of St. Peter, this guest house provides a romantic and traditional ambience amid the green countryside of the Black Forest. Opened in 1900, the Gasthof zum Kreuz has been family-owned for 4 generations and combines a sense of historic flair with modern amenities. Wi-Fi internet access is available for free in the whole hotel. The Gasthof zum Kreuz is famous for its tasty cuisine prepared with fresh meat, sausages and cheese from local farmyards. In the restaurant you can enjoy delicious sauces, soups, Spätzle (traditional Southern German egg pasta), pastas, terrines and many other homemade dishes. Relax in the rustic lounge and enjoy local Baden beer and wine. Children will feel particularly at home here. Children under 3 can stay for free in cots. There is also a children’s playground well away from the road with swings, a slide, seesaw and sandpit. The Gasthof zum Kreuz is an ideal base for exploring the city of Freiburg, the Feldberg mountain, the village of Glottertal or the Kaiserstuhl hills. Visit the Europa-Park (theme park) in Rust, or travel to Switzerland or the neighbouring Alsace region of France.
