Moored on the River Spree in the heart of Berlin, 2 boats make up this charming hostel. They sit amid the vibrant Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg districts, just 10 metres from the remains of the Berlin Wall. The Eastern Comfort Hostel Boat features cosy cabin rooms with their own bathrooms and a spacious deck area with great views of the Oberbaum Bridge. The Western Comfort Hostel Boat features budget cabins with shared bathrooms. It features a roof terrace, a part of which is reserved for guests sleeping in tents. Guests can enjoy a drink on the Floating Lounge's deck in the summer, or next to the fireplace in winter. Central heating allows guests to stay on board all around the year. The main reception, breakfast room and lounge are located on the Eastern Comfort boat. A rich breakfast buffet is provided daily for an additional fee. There is also a language party every Wednesday, which is free for hostel guests. Friedrichshain offers many bars and clubs, located within walking distance of the Eastern Comfort Hostel. Warschauer Straße S-Bahn (city rail) station is just a 10-minute walk from the hostel.

The property reserves the right to verify the validity of your credit card. Cabins with direct river views are subject to availability and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis based on the date of booking. The reception is open daily from 08:00 until 24:00 and you can check in between 16:00 and 23:30. Guests must check out before 11:00. If arriving earlier than the stated check-in time, you can leave your luggage in a storage room. Please note that special terms and conditions may apply for groups of 8 guests or more. Please note that guests are expected to be quiet from 23:00-08:00 daily. Bedding/towels are included on the Eastern Comfort Hostel Boat, but not on the Western Comfort Hostel Boat. Guests may bring their own or rent a set for EUR 5 per person per stay. Guests can access the Eastern Comfort Hostel Boat 24 hours a day by means of a door code. Children under the ages of 6 years old, non-swimmers and pets are not allowed on board due to safety regulations.
