Natural iodine spa Číž is the only one of its kind in the Slovak Republic and belongs with its iodine-bromine water to unique natural resources of this kind in Europe. The spa offers an idylic peacefull atmosphere with nice people and great services.The spa complex is located in a beautiful park, which offers many opportunities for relaxing walks and rest after curative treatments. Climatic conditions of the spa and its surroundings are characterized by dry, non-irritating and sunny climate suitable also for heliotherapy. The whole complex is divided into two parts – the historical part, in which many architectonically interesting buildings can be admired, and the modern part, which has many marks of a modern architecture. Therapy fundamental is the exploitation of curative effects of the local iodine mineral water. It has a proven positive effect on vascular and locomotive apparatus diseases. Offered curative treatments include: watertherapy, modern rehabilitation exercises, thermotherapy, lighttherapy, electrotherapy and inhalations. The spa also offers hippotherapy – rehabilitation in a form of horsebackriding. The spa house has been fully reconstructed and offers accomodation in single, double rooms and family appartments. Its part is a reconstructed restaurant and dining hall with fast refreshments and terrace. The spa house also features two conference rooms with audiovisual and didactic technology for 40 persons each. The price of a curative stay includes 20x accomodation, 20x full board, medical entry examination, 60 treatments/stay and free pool entry. The price of a relaxation stay includes 6x accomodation, 6x full board, medical entry examination, 12 treatments/stay (2x electrotherapy, 2x bath, 2x iodine-bromine gas bath, watertherapy: 2x drinking cure, 2x classical massage) and free pool entry.
