Повече >> The spa Nimnica offers curative as well as relax stays for all interested clients. It treats following diseases: oncological diseases, diseases of digestive tract, respiratory diseases, circulatory disorders, diseases caused by malfunctions of metabolism and by impediments of glands with inner secretion (diabetes, obesity), diseases of women, occupational diseases affecting respiratory tract and digestion.The spa Nimnica is the youngest spa in Slovakia. It is situated in the region of Trenčín, in the valley of the Váh River, between the towns of Považská Bystrica and Púchov. The spa is located above Nosická water reservoir, which is called the Dam of Youth, 300 meters above the sea level. Climatic conditions have the characteristics of lowland climate with mild winters and warm summers; moreover, the spa is protected against north winds. There are springs of alkaline mineral water with temperatures from 10 to 13 degrees Celsius, and with the overall mineralization of 5000mg/l. Mineral water contains sodium, potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, chlorine, iodine and free carbonic oxide. The water is used for drinking inhalational treatments as well as for tube-carbonated baths. Offered treatments: mineral water drinking treatments, carbonated baths, water cures, underwater massages, classical, reflexive massages, medicinal physical training, collective as well as individual, electrotherapy, inhalational treatments, treatments by heat, sauna, swimming and water exercise, mechanotherapy. The refurbished spa house is situated in the spa centre and provides accommodation in single and double rooms, some with shelter-like system (one double room and one single room, sanitary facility). The separate rooms have their own sanitary facility. All rooms have a color TV set with satellite, radio and telephone. In the building there is a social room. Catering and procedures are provided in the Balneotherapy building approximately 150 meters distant. The price of a curative stay includes accommodation, full board, initial medical examination and 54 healing procedures per stay. The length of a stay is 22 days. A relax stay is focused mainly on organism relax and prevention of civilization diseases and includes accommodation, fullboard, initial medical examination and 18 healing procedures per stay. The length of stay is 8 days. The price of reconditional stay includes accommodation, fullboard, initial medical consultation and 36 healing procedures per stay. The length of stay is 15 days. The first day of stays is Saturday.
