Quick description

Built in the 17th century, Solar Do Conde has large botanical gardens with ancient trees, and an outdoor pool with a bar. Set in Capelas, it is 600 metres from the Atlantic Ocean and some natural rock pools. Offering Azorean Mountain views, the elegant suites in the main building feature a double bed and a living area. Spread throughout the grounds, the bungalows have a porch or garden and a living room. All the accommodation includes a private bathroom. Breakfast is available and the bungalows offers a kitchenette and barbecue for self catering. There is a cocktail bar and a snack bar in the garden. The Solar do Conde's in house restaurant serves regional Azorean cuisine, cooked in traditional-style. Guests may choose to accompany their meals with a selection of regional wines. The main house has an ornate chapel and there are lounge areas and a banquet room. Located 6 km from Batalha Golf Course, Solar Do Conde Guest House is 14 km from São Miguel Island’s Ponta Delgada Airport.
